Tom Zephyrs

Tom Zephyrs started his art career in the early 1990’s and has been exploring creativity through art ever since then. He is mostly self-taught but found tips and encouragement through workshops with select art teachers including Kevin MacPherson, Charles Sovek, Scott Christiansen, Ovanes Berberian, Carolyn Anderson, and Camille Prszwodek.

Much of his early career focused on landscape painting on location (plein air) but through the years he has developed a passion for still life paintings and figurative paintings.  For years he developed his drawing skills working directly from the model while at the same time exploring a variety of styles from realistic to impressionist to expressionist to abstract. With this variety of experience he allows himself to move from style to style as each circumstance inspires him.

His work is in collections around the world and he has been represented by galleries in San Francisco, the Napa Valley, Oakland, Palm Springs, Maui, La Jolla, and other locations as well as Willits.
