I studied graphic design at Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles. After finishing school I went to work for my favorite instructor and mentor, Jayme Odgers, followed by several years with Saul Bass in Hollywood, and later with Walter Landor in San Francisco. My wife, Sharon, and I moved to Mendocino County in the late seventies and I began freelancing for various Bay Area design firms.
I became fascinated with assemblage and found object art during my college days, but only dabbled in it until the early 2000s when I was fortunate to meet Suzanne Picetti and begin showing and selling my work in her Blue Sky Gallery. Suzanne also gave me the opportunity to produce eight original pieces for the new Adventist Health Howard Memorial Hospital in Willits, CA.
Now, my creative efforts focus on layered dimensional rusty-metal collages, as well as wooden constructions and assemblages. I often add color to my pieces using a splattered spray paint technique and sometimes incorporate natural and man-made found objects into my work
