As a retired wildlife biologist, I am pleased that I am able to devote significant time to my passion for nature photography. Birds have been my main focus, giving me the pleasure of seeing them in more detail, enjoying the patterns of feathers, rituals of preening, and interactions between birds. Living near riparian habitat, it also provides special photo opportunities to capture dragonflies, foxes, reptiles, and other fascinating critters with my lens.
